As a bathroom remodeling contractor serving Calabasas, this is one of our favorite bathroom remodels to date.
Everyone dreams of a luxurious, sprawling bathroom in their home, right? This particular Calabasas bathroom remodeling project created just that. In fact, we even extended the bathroom to make more space for the luxury features this homeowner wanted in their en-suite bathroom. As a bathroom remodeling contractor serving Calabasas for the past 25 years, this has got to be one of our favorite bathroom renovations to date. It hits all the notes in terms of style, elegance and timelessness, all created with the precision needed to achieve the desired high-end design.
The Oversized Walk-In Shower
This bathroom has three focal points, but arguably the main focus lands on the 40-square-foot shower. We at South Land Remodeling not only did the construction but also crafted the bathroom’s overall design. So, we wanted to make a spacious, relaxing shower with life-enhancing extras. It has three shower heads, including a rain shower and hand-held head. A marble mosaic wall inlay matches the floor and creates depth and contrast to the surrounding large marble tiles. Custom glass shower doors ensure the entire shower feels like one with the rest of the space.
The Extra-Large Double Vanity
Outside the shower is a Carrara marble subway tile from MSI, which we wove into a gorgeous herringbone pattern. Adjacent to the shower is an extra-long double vanity that’s joined by a make-up station. Each vanity offers tons of storage space in addition to the extensive counter space, thanks to the marble-inspired (and highly durable) quartz countertops by MSI.
New Space for a Soaking Tub & Window
The homeowner really wanted a soaking tub in their remodeled bathroom. So, we extended the original 120-square-foot space to 200 square feet to help make that happen. To create contrast and harmony, the flooring beneath the soaking tub matches the floor and inlay in the shower. A free-standing faucet and hand-held shower head completes the tub’s high-end look.
The brand-new, oversized window – which is frosted for privacy – pours light into the space. It makes the bathroom feel even larger and brighter. To add a little neutral contrast to the white tile and fixtures, the walls feature a lovely gray paint called Baby Seal by Dunn Edwards.
